Porchfest has a lot of moving parts, and we need all the help we can get to make it all work. Whether you want to help plan the event or just want to pitch in on event day, you can make a big difference. You can volunteer as little as one hour and still enjoy the event!

What is the time commitment?
As much or as little as you want. Many day-of-event volunteer positions rotate every hour. Every little bit helps!
Do I get anything in return for volunteering?
Yeah! Many of Porchfest’s food trucks offer discounts for volunteers. We’ll email you a food voucher a couple weeks before the event.
I’m volunteering to get community service hours for school. Can you sign off for me?
Yes! Just give us a shout and we’ll get you signed off.
Does North Heights do stuff other than Porchfest? How can I get involved?
Yes, we do lots of stuff, including management of Michael & Jeri Lynn Joseph Family Park, a quarterly newsletter, and smaller events like Easter egg hunts and decoration contests. Join our Facebook group or email northheightsneighborhood@gmail.com if you’d like to get involved.
My question isn’t answered here. Should I just ask my mom?
Moms know most things, so there’s a pretty good chance she’ll know. If not, email us your question at northheightsporchfest@gmail.com. We’ll probably ask your mom first too just to be safe.Volunteer
